I love the Mixed Up artwork, one of my very favourite, so i'll try to get the picture disc.
I have never been fond of covers with a picture of Robert (apart from lgtb because b/w lol; Trilogy is being scandalously horrendous). This is a Cure record, not a Robert Smith record. So the Torn Down artwork isn't my cup of tea at all. I understand because Robert did this painting originally around the same era, influenced by these two paintings (lovesong & Mixed Up), but it's a bit lazy to use that old previously seen image, and once again self-centered. I would have loved to see a another try on another completely abstract painting he may (must) have done at the time. It's a shame because an effort has been made on the letterings.

I get your point, but unfortunately, this is what we have.
And yep, the Torn Down "font" is unrecognizable from the front cover view.
Despite the artwork, it´s more important how the mixes sounds, IMHO.
It´s true that I long for a new logo, a great artwork and everything related to a new album.
And after a decade-off, I´ll take this with joy.
Even more if this get a cd release...
There Was Nothing in the World that I Ever Wanted More than to Feel You Deep in My Heart...
Thanks for your lack of such thing, that will leave more picture discs for others to buy... For those who are real Cure fans ^^ , i will most probably be unable to go shopping on RSD, therefore, if any of you (in Europe) thinks he/she could help me buy these two picture discs compilations if he/she finds it, please let me know and contact me by pm, thanks in advance.
I'm looking forward to these Torn Down remixes, as I love all the songs apart from "Cut Here" I can't imagine any of them are very long as the discs contain four tracks per side.
I would be happy if they were like the single mixes of Just Like Heaven, Hot Hot Hot!!! All the Disintegration single mixes and High for example. Just simple mixes that add a bit of dimension to some of the dry album mixes.
I'm excited. I do hope we eventually get those mixes by Mogwai and Cranes. I've been waiting for those for ages. It says all remixes are by Robert himself
I really hope these get a CD release. I don't see the point of remastering something and then releasing it on scratchy vinyl (especially a picture disc). I don't understand the vinyl revival.

That's just it really. I don't see much point in buying it just to have it. I'd want to be able to play it & enjoy it. I'm with lovekittens on this. Fingers crossed for a CD or lossless digital option.
