looking at the list, the spirit of bowie is certainly present. placebo & nin for sure. i first saw placebo at big day out in melbourne. they were great. last time was the beginning of a big tour in small club. few hundred capacity. eagles of death metal opened back when josh homme was still playing with them live. there was a dvd of that tour & there's a bit of footage from that show. the main thing on the dvd was big show in france. you should go to nin. less than 4000 is really small show for them. people won't be in their seats long!

Already got 1 gig that week, I can justify 1 maybe 2 more - mainly cos its my birthday
Got my fingers Xd for the last night so one more - Kristin, Mogwai or Furs are most likely. NIN and Placebo will be great but unless they're playing some kind of unique set I'm gonna have to pass this time

They're usually at the same time, The Queen Elizabeth Hall has just been refurbished. Saw Kevin Shields and Patti Smith in there a few years ago and was a good venue it holds around 900 and is just along the Southbank from the main hall (which holds 2740). The Siouxsie gig there the other year was incredible.

Just noticed the 'Many more to be announced', also the closing night still hasn't been announced. That could be something special.
I'm still holding out hope for some lesser known bands, too. While it's great to see a bill of big name bands Bobbert loves, I'd really like some new discoveries. Save
Are The Cure or Robert Smith playing? We have released the entire confirmed line-up that has been booked, which does not currently include Robert Smith or The Cure. However, further gigs will be announced on 10 April, including the final two Royal Festival Hall bookings.
I noticed distinct lack of Siouxsie in intial bunch...
I may get stoned (as in, with rocks ) for saying this, but what I've heard of some performances from the last eight years or so, let's just say I was a little sad. Believe you me, I have TONS of love for Sioux and have for many, many years, but it wasn't good and there is a time to let it go and remember how good the past was...
same thing can be said for many bands. happily the cure are exception. they were very strong last tour. there is a nostalgia factor with sioxsie & robert though.
