I think this is the easiest way to control the caoacity. But by some Festivals they controlled before every gig again. At the cure concert in hamburg 2002 they had wristbands, so i could go out and in as i like. I hope for that on saturday.
but its the question: how long before primary entry we should be at hyde Park?
Was at Hamburg, i didn’t have wristbands, but some people were able to slip there’s off there hands and pass them to us
I’d just get in as early as you can, i think if it is the system we think you’ll be fine.
I had 4....one for me and three for my friends....
i will get in at 12:30, but how long is the queue at 11?

Hi Michael, the general admission area in front of the main stage is capacity-controlled to ensure your safety. We may at any time use measures such as wristbanding to ensure that numbers are monitored. Enjoy the show!
But now somebody said:
but once you go out for a drink , eat, toilet , you wont be able to get back in .........
Nothing is clear.....

No, it isn’t clear at all. It looks like they haven’t made a decision, or not one they’re willing to share, at least. Rubbish.

So the Primary Entrance Ticket make no sense, in my opinion...
that's right.
Hopefully it will turn out that they do provide wristbands, like they did last year. It's just annoying not knowing either way.

Have decided to try something novel for me. Instead of worrying about getting in the very front, will arrive to the morning queue well after the sun has risen, and will wander the festival grounds throughout the day and enjoy The Cure from wherever I find myself at 8:20pm that evening. Relaxed and not depriving myself of water in order to avoid leaving my spot? Crazy, I know.
Hope I don’t moan about my decision later! But I’m also hoping this means I can see some of your lovely faces throughout the day
You know, I’m usually a “have to be up front” concert-goer myself, but I think given the venue and weather, the family and I will be taking a very similar approach. Even considering not heading to the venue until early afternoon. (We are primarily interested in the last four bands on the big stage.) We sprung for the Terrace tickets, so hoping to take advantage of the shade there and in the VIP garden thing (whatever that turns out to be).
Have a fun, safe day everyone! And stay hydrated! 😉

There is no Golden Circle, I thought the maps were quite clear :/
I think that the BST people didn't pick up on that speaks volumes
Am about 45 mins away - plan is get in, premium view is early doors (early doors time not printed on ticket though so good start...) and then nip round to get the GA wristband.
The app is superb too...I just got a notification saying The Cure are starting on the Great Oak Stage in 30 minutes. Better bloody not be!
