Pondering an attempt to venture towards the front around 5pm - while faces are glued to phones/screens (or have I got my timings wrong for the football?)
Your timings are correct (will finish nearer 6pm if extra time and penalties) but what I'm hearing is that the football/no football on screens thing is still undecided.
Thanks paulwUK. I'm thinking that if they don't put football on screens, there'll be a lot of folks sitting down with a pint, watching it on their phones. When everyone sat down at Crystal Palace Bowl (James were supporting), it was really easy to walk to the front. Although if the capacity-controlled area is full, my cunning plan won't work.

Hi Michael, the general admission area in front of the main stage is capacity-controlled to ensure your safety. We may at any time use measures such as wristbanding to ensure that numbers are monitored. Enjoy the show!

Do I understand correctly?
If I arrive on time with my primary entrance ticket, I will get a wristband that will allow me to get back to the front of the stage area at any time...?

So I believe but they dont make this crystal clear!
What's the nearest tube to the premier entrance, it says its west gate?
It should be all in the first post
I think Knightsbridge tube is closest to the West Gate, but there isn't much in it, by the looks of it.

I think this is the easiest way to control the caoacity. But by some Festivals they controlled before every gig again. At the cure concert in hamburg 2002 they had wristbands, so i could go out and in as i like. I hope for that on saturday.
but its the question: how long before primary entry we should be at hyde Park?

Was at Hamburg, i didn’t have wristbands, but some people were able to slip there’s off there hands and pass them to us
I’d just get in as early as you can, i think if it is the system we think you’ll be fine.
