Well GW12 felt like it whizzed by rather quickly & with the international shenanigans over & done with (for a while) let’s see what transpired.
Kicking off with the “big one”, Arsenal hosted Spuds for the North London derby where 2 first half goals gave them their 1st league win over their rivals since 2014. Not even ardent Spurs fan Mike Dean could save the visitors this time.
Bournemouth hosted the Terriers &, despite going down to 10 men, gubbed the premierships noobs 4-0. Meanwhile, Swansea’s lack of form continued as they lost away to Burnley.
Palace went 1 up in the 2nd minute at home to Everton who levelled 4 minutes later thanks to a tussle with gravity from Niasse. Despite retaking the lead, they still managed to Palace it up & the game ended all square.
The unstoppable Citeh brushed Leicester aside & Mo’ Salad was the star of Liverpool’s game with a brace.
Chelski bashed the final 4 nails into Pulis’ coffin &, after going 1 down early on, ManUre turned the screws to thrash Newcastle 4-1.
Sunday’s only game saw Watford overpower David Bug Eyes Moyes new charges in another Wet Spam game that prompted fans to call the police straight afterwards.
The week wound up on Monday evening as Brighton extended their unbeaten run to 5 games at the Amex stadium.
The classic league this week saw the IGM romp home with 641 points as they close the gap on BB&S who lead on 6509 points overall.
The Yellow Jersey changes hands as Nikolas Vitus Lagartija's Damage Dunfermline retakes top spot & the Big Shout Out went to schmed’s The Clash Athletic with a net 73 points.
H2H also went the way of the IGM who extend their lead to 6 points overall.
Oh…& the crown…. go me!
Back in the shed it’s a bit hectic as we have 3 GWs in just 2 calendar weeks plus a Friday kick off for GW13……eek!
Still, our pies are cheaper than the ones at Wembley & BlueHughes’ mum does some wicked good flaky pastry
So roll up & grab a steak & ale pie or ……oh that’s all we have. We have crisps though & get settled in for GW 13.
