There's so little re-watch value to a doc, even the great ones are only good for a few viewings. Should they have talking heads - is it worth risking Dom Joly to get some Siouxsie? Who could narrate a doc without making viewers want to pull their teeth out?
Give them a a crate of beer and put them in a room to come up with a commentary track over the top of loads of historic footage - best of both worlds!

I think it's time for some kind of past to present thing. Although, the band's history does seem to be like 'Forever' in that there is no definitive version...
