It is probably just a collection of videos that Tim worked on over the last 40 years... (or so... this whole 40th anniversary thing is really bothering me!!).
Tim Pope directing a fly on the wall directory series where they all live together in a straw-lined hutch and Lol feeds them snacks through a hole in the roof. Channel 5 to produce.
Well, if it's not The Cure in Orange, that's not very exciting. We don't need another video collection, unless they are re-releasing Staring At the Sea: The Images.

There was talk (when Bob started promising stuff) of some sort of anthology/ box set thingy. With Tim Pope having all the original reels of film going way back, it could be something career spanning. At least it should be. & on blu ray. No point in missing an opportunity with the master films at hand.

It's also possible that the new album is done, there's a massive tour planned and all the promised stuff is happening.
Possible.
There is certainly an album "in the can". It's a question of whether Reeves has re-recorded all the guitar parts for it If he has (& his recent tweets are very encouraging) that would be incredible. I seriously doubt a massive tour though. 2016 was a humungous outing don't you think? I can't see that sort of thing happening for a while (if ever again). One thing that would be quite cool is to do a sort of Curiosa type thing again. A festival with bands selected by The Cure would be a whole lot better than one where The Cure were the only band worth seeing. Robert's promised so much stuff, that he could pick any one out of a hat at random & many people would be overjoyed. A few might not be, but he can't possibly release everything that he's hinted about.

The last thing Smith said at Wembley was 'see you again'. I'm going to say it will be the album and some shows.
