I ordered my sydney lithographie in June this year and heared NOTHING till last week. No answer to my mails, nothint. So i contacted paypal and reported a problem. 2 Days later paypal sends me that musictoday chanced my status in "shiped" and on friday it was here in germany... i´m so happy!
Wow, that's real b.s., if you don't mind me saying so.
What were they planning on doing? Just keeping your money in hopes you wouldn't notice?
My order (placed on 24.07) was shipped on 09.09, tracking doesn't work so I have no idea where it is now. Anyway, I impatiently wait for a customs bill first...
I hope that was my last order placed in this store. I really don't understand why The Cure Company allow all that mess happen. And why isn't there any European store? Is it really so hard to do?
But I don't see And I don't feel But tightly hold up silently My hands before my fading eyes And in my eyes Your smile
I mistook stars reflected in a pond at night for those in the sky.
I cannot begin to describe how much I regret using their store. 15 quid on top of everything else
I looked at the store pages & there is a section on customs charges that tells the customer to expect them & to check with their local customs office to get an estimate on what they'll be as they have no clue. I have never in my life seen any other online store that does that.

They could add the charges up front and remove the handling costs..
Even tiny self funded indie bands manage an EU store and a US store, everything about it is amateurish - there:s no interest in customer service at all.

I've dabbled in logistics in my time. I'm no expert, but I do know it's possible to negotiate a DDP price with any courier (there are plenty of companies out there). & if that is possible, informing you of the customs charge on DDU shipments is a piece of cake. Amateurish is exactly the right word. Out of interest, make sure you read the shipment conformation & delivery notes (even the small print). I'd be curious to know what inco term is printed there.
