This question is a lot tougher than it first sounds. BDC has Plastic Passion & Jumping Someone Else's Train which are both staggeringly brilliant. It also (well, the vinyl does) has World War, which is a total sleaze fest. Gonna have to take my time on this one (a good excuse for listening to both again)

Oh, also you forgot KAA on BDC.... which is one of the songs that makes me feel like loving the Cure was fate.
Boys Don't Cry. Ditching that version of Foxy Lady made it worth it alone , but with the addition of BDC, KAA, and JSET....amazing. Go on, kill me for loving singles.
Of course Boys Don't Cry is kind of mature compilation in comparison with Three Imaginary Boys. In general that is all star repertoire of The Cure 1978-79. Interesting how I was confronted with Boys Don't Cry first. Perhaps that's why I will stick with that.
An impression of sound Then everything is gone Forever

I love BDC and don't actually own TIB, I feel a lot of the best songs from TIB are on BDC and with the nice additions of the singles Now that I think of it I don't own TIB on vinyl just BDC and that's okay
BDC, definitely! The better songs of TIB are on there plus the singles which are quite good. Like steve I prefer the vinyl version over the CD version due to "World War".
