I don't know that much about Reeves but he seems a little pretentious to me... lol!!
Perry wasn't pretentious?
That's borderline Porl Okay, back on topic.... I would like them to take their time too. 4:13 sounded pretty rushed & but for the production (& This. Here & Now. With You) is a darn good collection of songs. The talent is there to make a masterpiece. Whether it'll happen is anyone's guess. But that it could is a mouth watering prospect.

But that's the point. I mean why wouldn't you ? It's not quite now or never but it's getting there. Surely they want to go out on the highest of highs with a massive selling critically acclaimed masterpiece that confirms their place in the history books? I can't think of a reason why they wouldn't want to do that.
Oh & could they please take a bit of time to think about the cover art. Really not into the daft clown, kiddy scrawl & potato print stuff that's been de riguer .
I would deffo have the current line up They click so well together & Perry couldn't hold a candle to Reeves in a million years I would probably opt for a KMKMKM sort of vibe, but maybe a bit darker & sleazier. It would need to have some psychedelic touches too & between Robert & Reeves I can't see that being an issue at all.
Yep The Kiss Me album for sure. All of that what Steve said. As I get older I realize next to pornography kmkmkm is actually my second favorite album.
And oh gosh no more 4:13 dream...eesh no cure album no no no
Clearly, you will find others that feel the same. But the thing is, I think 4:13 Dream represents the Cure's new way of writing songs. I like KMKMKM's array of songs in addition to the excellent quality of songs, and I would hope a new album would be able to do all that again. But the sound? Reeves will add a new dimension, for sure, but I think Robert's style of writing has changed over the years. Personally, this excites me!

I think Robert's style hasn't changed all that much... I feel like he has 3 different types.
The epic story - ex FTEOTDGS and Charlotte Sometimes General pop - ex Friday and The Only One
Repeats - ex (I don't know what's going) on and The Loudest Sound....
