Its been a while now and I finally had the courrage to watch some recordings from this great night. It was a magical night indeed. I wasnt sure what to expect being eight years since last time I saw them, and well, who would think they be just as good a decade later? But wow, it was even better!! It was friday night and full house with 10000 old and young. Robert was in a good mood smiling a lot and his voice was as good as can be! And the set list.... amazing, like written for me. Actually I do think this must have been one of the best shows on tour!! I was standing near the front in the middle, and it was quite tight with people and not much space to move. I guess I was too paralysed by the music to notice until after the show, that I couldnt feel my feet anymore.
I am so so happy I got to see them live again, and its equally sad that its now over and I might not see them again. Now I just want to keep the feeling this show gave me, must it never fade out!
Yeah! I was there also! The best 3 hours in my life - even if my friend got ill and spend most of the concert back stage. (She wrote to me, not to worry, if I just pick her up after the show)
Couldn't think of any better first song, than Plainsong! Lost about 2 kilos from sweating. I was almost up front til the right.
Love the fans, and was actually rather pleased, that most of us were old farts in our best 40s... I even saw a few in other colours than black!!!
I don't remember details from the concert. Not because I was drunk or drugged - I don't do drugs, and I rarely drink alcohol, but because it was such a great experience!
Haven't seen them since Roskilde in the early 90's - and I was up front (again) and got carried out if the insane crowd.
Copenhagen was great, and even the sound wasn't a disaster. Forum - the concert place, is usually known for it's terrible sound.
What I really loved with the concert, was the lack of Macs. Almost all bands have a Mac on stage. They might have had one - or another lap top, but I want to belive in the Cure as a "real" band, playing real instruments the old school way.
