Radio X is giving you the chance to win a custom-made guitar, as played at Bestival by the Cure frontman - and it’s in aid of Global’s Make Some Noise.
Radio X is giving you the chance to win Robert Smith’s specially-designed Schecter "RS Ultracure Bestival 2016" guitar, as played on stage during the band’s headline set at this year’s Bestival. Printed with Bestival 2016 artwork, the Schecter "RS Ultracure Bestival 2016" is so rare that only 2 of them exist in the world. One belongs to Robert himself and you can be in with a chance of winning the other one, signed especially for Make Some Noise and Radio X by the Cure frontman.
This is an incredible opportunity to own a piece of musical history by one of Radio X’s biggest icons. TO SUPPORT OUR CHARITY AND BE IN WITH A CHANCE OF WINNING, TEXT THE WORD ROBERT TO 83936 Entries close at 11.59pm on Friday 7 October 2016. You must be over 18 to take part. Texts cost your standard network rate, plus once you've entered we'll do the bit that raises the money for all those good causes and will automatically take a donation of £3, unless you reply STOP to the first text message we send you. 100% of these donations will go to Global's Make Some Noise.
I've just send an sms, don't know if it will be approved though.
How quickly did you get the STOP text?
Shouldn't the bounce back text be almost instant? I guess though, if thousands are bombarding the text service at the same time, there would be a delay. You get 10 chances at it apparently
Not sure what I would do with a guitar, but what the heck. I tried this without country code, with 00 and England code and with +44. It never goes through! What a gip!
Be careful. If you're in the UK, it's free delivery. Not so much if you're overseas. & given the last Bestival guitar weighed as much as a car, shipping could be more than the price of a small house.

Yeah, I noticed the shipping issue in the rules. But in the extremely unlikely event I won, I would find a way. ! And I'm not so far away, darn it.
