Thanks Steve. This is weird. I can see it on the MTV classic schedule when I look online but it does not appear anywhere on my sky schedule on my TV. I see the whole night is filled with unplugged shows when I look online but none of them show up on the sky channels. Cure-ious and cure-iouser.

Same for me. I have VH1 (never watch it though, as it's usually full of cr@p) & can't see the changeover either on the channel info yet. Tomorrow's the launch day, so it might show up then.
Is it just what's available now or the full gig with ALL the songs I wonder
It's 30 minutes, so I guess it's what's already been broadcast. But in all honesty it would have made more sense to launch with perhaps a show (or part of) from the current tour. The Cure have often done MTV specials in the past & to have this unplugged rubbish regurgitated yet again seems a bit of a wasted opportunity.
At least it will be a digital broadcast so the quality should be improved, even if it's the same as previous broadcasts..
From a video perspective, that's true. From an audio perspective, it'll be compressed to oblivion like all other digital broadcasts. The only glimmer of hope in that respect is if it is on a Westwood One FM station (do they have them? The website is so awful I can't tell) & not a satellite or dab channel.
Update on my findings. It appears that this rebranding and schedule does not apply to MTV Classic UK and Ireland. We have endless cheesy pop videos all night long. Gutted.

Ah the wisdom of EmptyV. What a bunch of jerks. My VH1 schedule still flagging a continual stream of rubbish too.
Well ........... at 11.30 I will plug all twelve kazoos into my amp, connect that to my Atmos system and treat the neighbours to my rendition of the walk. Or, me catching fire.
