Just got a vinyl copy of Wild Mood Swings for under $150. The pressing is shiat however and sounds like garbage. I wonder if all copies are like that or if I just need to upgrade my record player to something super top shelf.

That's just the way WMS sounds.
It's fairly easy to fix, I took the disc out of the sleeve and very carefully placed it in the bin and then replaced it with a Staring At The Sea disc.

You didn't think we would notice the comment steve...SMH! I'm about to send you the WMS shirt for Christmas.
This has been a ridiculously expensive month for me as I've been feverishly crossing off my white whales. I think the only 12" platters I'm missing now are the Friday I'm In Love 12" and the Wrong Number 12".

Hi, that's nice! I think my favourite one will always be the first one because it was so exciting with something "new" at the time and I enjoyed the effort put into it. Winter was a surprise, a gorgeous one at that. Yup, I still feel that Three Imaginary Boys is the most complete deluxe editition in tandem with Disintegration.

I think the Seventeen Seconds one as it hasn't had the dynamic range reduced as much as the others. I still don't listen to the other ones except for the bonus discs & only play the original pressings.
