Just come out of my my first meeting for the week which after 5 mins conversation turned into a nice chat (prompted by my TCT RAH shirt) about their only Cure gig - at the Chelmsford Odeon on the Picture tour in '81.
My sister sent me a link to Slate's Hit Parade podcast since it features The Cure. Opens with Pictures of You and Lovesong. The podcast is titled "The Lost and Lonely Edition."
May be worth a listen, even if the host's voice and phrasing holds all the charisma of dirty dishwater. Not sure it really delivers anything new, have it on now, but good for nostalgia's sake.
very deserved! as a fellow 6music listener i can confirm your weekly asking, begging, pestering lala for this glad nemone finally heard your pleas before the year was over!
let’s hope this will be the motto for all of us in the next year, cheers *
watched “the story of 1989” on totp last night and while having the historical background of that year, berlin wall, thatcher etc, lovesong was playing.

Snippet of an interview with David Bowie on the radio with Mary Anne Hobbs & the question she posed was from Robert about how he decided to call himself Bowie
