A bit of Lovecats used as part of a fairly poor joke on a TV show the other night. A person has 'soundtrack disorder' so every time he does something an appropriate bit of music is played. Someone asks 'is there a cure?' and hey ho the opening bars of Lovecats
Also, the presenter of my local TV news is called Rob Smith. Just now he was talking about the weather and said 'it's been an in between sort of day'
I got a tiny piece of Curespotting on Chain of Flowers the other week. It made me feel like a minor celebrity. I know - I'm aware of how sad this makes me sound!!
A Cure-related question on quiz show 'Pointless' earlier in the week. There were a list of song titles by bands whose name starts with 'The' and the question was to name the band. The Cure track was 'Friday I'm In Love' (and the contestants got the answer right )
Can't go anywhere or do anything and my (confused) Dad has the TV remote. Bless him, he forgets what he's watching, so during the advert breaks, he'll channel hop, turn the TV off, then on again and Mum has to steer him back to what we were watching in the first place!!
The early bird might get the worm, but the second mouse gets the cheese.
I actually heard A Letter To Elise in Rite Aide this morning. Yes Rite Aide in America. A Letter to Elise. I think I said Whoaaaa really loud and scared an elderly woman buying toilet paper.
