My sis and I will be flying in for this show. Would love to meet up and chat in line. I am very quiet though. So excited. But hope this show is better than the last time they played Vegas. eeks.

Hello & welcome Hope you & your sister enjoy it & that you meet loads of great folks
Hi, I'm new here. I'm flying from Seattle for the Vegas show. This is my bucket list show. I've been trying to see the band for 25+ years & am quite excited. For various reasons I have just never been able to connect even when I've had tickets. Most memorable (& sad) was the "Wish" tour I had great seats but my mom died on the day of the show. When they announced this tour & saw Seattle on the itinerary I got psyched. Then they announced it was the Sasquatch Festival. Ugh! I'm somewhat disabled & the festival scene is too much for me. + they were only selling passes for the 4 days for a lot of $. So, I bit the bullet & got a pretty good seat in the front row of the balcony @ the Chelsea for not a horrible amount of $. I've been to the Chelsea & its a fine venue. A bit sterile but not very big. The sound is very good. They announced the Ridgefield WA show after I set up the trip but I'm happier with this show. & perhaps I'll do Ridgefield, too. I have a huge list of songs I'd love to hear but will be happy with anything. Given the size of the venue, I think this one will be a lot of real fans & I don't think Robert will disappoint us. There won't be any time limitations like festivals & the capacity is only about 3000. I'm arriving the day before the show & going home on Saturday night. Got a screaming deal @ Mandalay Bay. Tentative plans for the other nights are Purple Reign @ the Westgate on Wednesday night. Wouldn't usually go to a tribute band but given the circumstances seems appropriate. + they are actually really good. On Friday night there's a lot of options. Trying to decide between Santana @ House of Blues, Cirque du Soleil "Love" (have seen before but am being offered a really good seat for half price) & the Scorpions @ the Hard Rock. Would love to hook up preshow with other Cure fans. I'm travelling to this one solo which is fine but its always nice to meet new folks. I'll keep an eye out here. Hope to see you in Vegas! Cheers

What happened the last time they played Las Vegas? Enquiring minds want to know!

I'm a cry baby... The fans that night were just really really rude. Everyone needed to chill. You couldn't line up early so I guess that put people on edge so when the doors finally opened it was a nightmare. Think black friday at wal-mart. The rushing to the stage didnt bother me nearly as much as how the fans acted towards each other or maybe I'm the only one who got picked on. Also the venue was ill-prepared for us. Almost like they never hosted a concert with a general admission floor. But I did meet up with some fun folks from a Cure forum and met some nice people once we got to the stage. The show was good but I'm pretty sure the band cut the set short.
I read reviews of the Chelsea and some concerts had similar situations with people knocking over tables and skipping people just to get inside. I'm too old for this. I so should have bought seats. I'm going to break out in hives just thinking about it.

We shall endeavor to make sure you have a chill, good time. I've got a reserved seat in the balcont but hopefully we can meet. I'm a pretty low key & quiet person, too.
Some quick questions. I am flying in from Portland, OR for this show. Do you know if all the front GA tix are the same or if they are sectioned off? I am planning to buy some on stubhub but want to make sure they aren't different. Thanks!

The Chelsea isn't very big. Roughly the same size in different configuration as the Paramount in Seattle. The show I went to there was all reserved but I don't see how they would do different sections for GA on the floor. One thing though, there is GA floor & GA gallery. GA gallery is on the balcony & I'm guessing you would want to avoid that. Recommendation on ticket broker: try Epic Seats. They are out of Seattle but operate nationally. I've done several transactions with them & they have been excellent! The best thing about them is the price you see on the website is the price you pay. Everybody else it seems that you get taken in by the price but when you go to check out all of the sudden there are all sorts of fees that can be as much as the ticket. I'll send you a PM with a link.
