Well the date of the second NY gig is a bit up in the air anyhow as it clearly says the date could change, due to play offs. If that happens I will be pretty peed off I can tell you!
Adding a third date into the mix was maybe not viable at the venue?

I am pretty surprised they picked Madison Square Garden instead of Radio City Music Hall. But MSG is 3X the size of RCMH. 18,000 seats Vs. 6,000. Do we know if the second MSG show is sold out yet? They could just add an intimate RCMH show as a third which would be fabulous! I love RCMH! It's gorgeous!
As far as the playoffs the NY Rangers (hockey) and the NY Knicks (basketball) play at MSG. NHL is usually wrapped up by early June around the 4th or 5th. The NBA would be the worry. But as I said the odds of the Knicks getting into the finals is slimmer than the Eagles winning a Superbowl. But if for some strange reason they do mess it up maybe they will move it to the Coliseum (which is on Long Island) or The Barclays center (which is in Brooklyn) I hope not because both are nightmares to get to. Although I'd prefer Brooklyn than Long Island.

I would've much rathered RCMH myself! I'm not a fan of these big arena's at all. I like to be able to see a band, not a little black dot bobbing about on a distant stage.
