You get a Download with the vinyl actually, get the full info before complaining
With all due respect wilgy, you've got posters on this very thread telling you that it's already sold out, so don't criticize me for wondering why it's a limited edition release. On a separate issue (aside from being a fan who'd like to hear the single), the intent with a charity is to raise the most money possible for said charity. Having a limited edition release for charity sounds counter-productive. But that's a separate quibble, I'd like to be able to buy it and listen to it.

With all due respect you were saying that the vinyl was basically a bit of furniture for the wall.
As for the limited edition thing, numbers were never mentioned, so for all we know it could be a limited edition of 5,000 which is a lot of units and would surely still gain a nice little amount of money for charity and keep us all happy. I actually suspect that they are gauging numbers by sales which is why it keeps coming back on offer, this would also explain why The Cure themselves were pushing it on FB and Twitter even after it had said sold out initially.
Let's not forget anyway this is actually a Twilight Sad single, not a Cure single!
The site may be having trouble with volume of traffic. If you think about it, if The Cure plug it on their own social networks, there is going to be thousands of people clicking on it & I doubt The Twilight Sad are ready for that sort of traffic usually. That being said, if that were the case, an error message would be less misleading I guess.

Fair point Steve, but the link actually directs you to "musicglue" to order the record and they ought to be able to cope with such traffic.

I reckon ............... it's because CheesyFurBall's Credit Card keeps getting rejected.
Ah, I see. It's a platform for artists to market their wares. Maybe The Twilight Sad set up their page wrong or there's a bug then. Looks like a quite groovy platform actually. If you ignore Mumford & Sons
I poked around their site, they do have digital only purchases for their latest album. But the special Robert Smith track is only on that vinyl. Oh well, maybe someone will post it to youtube someday...
