I must admit I did go see them in 1983 at The Tower Theater and once again for the Zoo Tour in Hershey. The 1983 concert was better. There were too many things flying around flying cars and stuff for the zoo tour. Not sure what was happening but they did play Pride TWICE that day. I'm still not sure why. It wasn't even April 4th. But Enjoy melly80 I know you like them.
i'm going to go. i saw the original joshua tree tour in vancouver but don't remember it. the 10+ shots of tequila before the show might've had something to do with that. there was also a border crossing i don't remember. good thing i wasn't driving, haha.
it was amazing. writer doesn't mention that eddie vedder (yay) & mumford (meh) joined the band for mothers of the disappeared. also attendance was 60000+ not 75000. otherwise pretty good write up.
