This is tentative, but we might try something different for the Tuesday meet-up.
Here is a nice pub over looking the Thames
www.blueanchorlondon.com/
Blue Anchor is a unique traditional riverside family run pub offering a warm and sociable atmosphere.
Located by the Thames a short walk from Hammersmith Bridge.
First licensed in 1722 it affords a true traditional pub experience.
Four real ales always on tap as well as a wide range of premium lagers and ciders. We carry a fine range of old and new world wines.
The food menu is interesting and appetizing. Only fresh produce is used and the menu is changed on a regular basis. Besides the A la carte menu there is a light meal menu.If you are after a bit of afternoon sun, drinks and tasty food then the Blue Anchor is the number one destination for a great day or night out!
The upstairs 'River Room' is a popular venue with great views of the River. Available for private hire it has a separate bar and toilet facilities.
BLUE ANCHOR
LICENCED JUNE 9th 1722
George 1st was King of England and Louis XV was on the Throne of France when
we were granted our licence. Records show The 'Blew Anchor' had been selling beer for many decades before that.
When we celebrated our first 50 years
as a licensed pub The American Declaration of Independence had yet to be
signed, Captain Cook had only just found his way to Australia and the French
revolution was still some twenty years way!
Welcome to one of the oldest
pubs in London.
