Did you guys properly sing "Play for Today?" How do Londoners behave at a concert? It's very sad on the other side of the pond. Here it seems that people buy their tickets to have the chance to go inside, buy VERY expensive beer, film a few songs with their phones, and try to talk over the music to their friends. I have literally seen an entire row of people do nothing but go back and forth the entire show to either a) go to the bathroom, b) go buy more beer, or c) do both. It becomes like two shows for me. The first show is the MAIN ACT, the reason that I pay my ticket and go. The second show is watching these fools act like idiots. It's funny.
You've just described a typical London crowd and the bigger the venue, the less interested the crowd will be! Its not so bad outside of London though.
The best singing I've heard has always been at big the outdoor european shows, the Roma 2012 show had a crazy crowd

Yep. The Italians are a mad crowd (in a good way). I recall the Rome show in 2008. The singing in PFT was like a religious experience.
I would have to say that all of the Bloodflowers album is better in concert. The studio versions seem slightly "missing something" (although I still maintain this is some of Roger's best keyboard work).

Did anyone mention "Prayers for Rain?" It never seems to distance itself too terribly much from the studio, but for some reason, I like it more on the various boots I possess. For some reason, I keep expecting the drummer to vary the pattern, but alas, he never does. I play around on the drums, and have drummed in various bands, so maybe it's just me putting myself in his shoes, anxious to see what I would do.
in your house(Paris),trust(show),from the edge(show),play for today(Paris),Cut(show),the Big Hand,Kyoto song(in Orange),i thing,Likely there are others, where in my opinion is better than studio version.
