Historically, when a new album comes out, Simon has a new hair do and change of outfit… last concert, no change; doesn't look hopeful on the album front
maybe an "old" news but, yesterday I was trying to show to some friend some "The Cure in Orange" clips: I went to YouTube and I couldn't find anything! there were/are a lot of "Show" footage but NO Orange at all... Could be some clue?

Funny story: on 30th June 2014 The Eels played RAH. The gig was recorded in both audio & video. Fast forward to today, & what am I holding? Nothing other than The Eels live in RAH 2CD, 1DVD official release complete with E playing two songs on the massive pipe organ........ C'mon Bob, surely you could compete. ?..
I give up, they don't want play Cure stuff...so maybe 2012 was the first and last time I saw them live.
Never say never. I'm a Sisters fan & we've been waiting over 2 decades for a new record. At least they tour (a bit). The Cure will play again. They enjoy it & it shows too

I hope it so bad...I'm tired about this Rob's featurings and solo projects from other members. Wtf are they waiting??
How much more can we use it up?
drink it dry?
take this drug?
looking for something forever gone
but something
we will always want?
You know what I think? I think they've got the potential again to do another KMKMKM sort of thing where they all go off & make home demos & make a pool of the best for a showcase album. Trouble is, they're still sitting on a pile of existing material that's unreleased, but it was co-written with Porl, who appeared to disappear under a bit of a cloud, so I would guess that some of that stuff is "off limits" as far as releasing goes. They could take all Porl's guitar tracks & re-record them with Reeves (I think he could probably play them standing on his head), but Bob doesn't seem to want to do that. The talent they have in the band right now is such that they could really let loose with a scorcher of a record. I'm staying quietly confident

Well.. Cure fans can't complain. They've been playing live for almost 40 years... It's understandable that they could maybe be a little bit tired.
To tell you the truth, and I know this is not going to be very popular, I think they should not release any more records. Playing live? Yeah, that's ok, but their last records are so weak, in my humble opinion. After 'Wish' there is no other great Cure record. Some great songs here and there, some OK, and a lot bad ones.
