Haha, I'm not that short really (165cms) - by no means a hobbit, pffhhh - (I'm the president of the "let's sacrifice Frodo for World Peace" organisation) but there seem to be way too many overly tall & bulky Germans nowadays! I can live with one tall guy standing in front of me but when there's 3 or more of them ... !!!!
P.S.: I liked the big screens at Optimus Alive last summer, in yer face Mr. Tall!
you may not believe me but I get really paranoid when I go to gigs now because I know that I am blocking the view of some hobbit behind me. For years I never really thought about it, mainly because we were always in the mosh pit, but now things are more civilised I tend to stand and watch the gig.
Although that said, there is the argument that I paid the same price for my ticket so screw you !!! ;-)
I would have to take a bat to your knees then. Lol My bf has a point you paid for a seat and you stand for 3 hours. Doesn't make sense. And you have met him Paul you could see the ole hippie saying that can't you? Lol

But you wouldn't be able to reach me with the bat!!!
TBH I don't sit at gigs. I've probably sat down 4 times in 20 years, reflections being one of them. If I can't get a standing ticket I normally don't bother.
About december 1987 (a month or so after they played here with The Kissing Tour )
'Concert' blew my mind.
By the way, that year they played in Madrid a day after my birthday. But even worse, the last song of the gig was....
...Pornography.
ooooh...... dang.
The Cure played Hungary on my birthday this year... interestingly enough, they opened with Shake Done Shake... which they also opened with on the first night in Chicago... (of course, my main set ended with The Top - the only time they played it in 2016)
1989. I have two vivid memories from that year. One, watching people cheering on top of, and tearing down, the Berlin Wall. Two, hearing that incredibly sincere voice singing Lovesong.
