Yep, 70s and 80s were gold eras to the rock an roll, punk rock, gothic rock, etc., was great have grown up between them, that atmosphere is gone...well I'm talking too much tonight!
At night...I hear the darkness breathe...I sense the quiet despair...Listen to the silence...At night...Someone has to be there...

I agree Eduardo. I am thrilled with the era in which I grew up. To have been able to see the cure in 1984 and all through the years and experience the music I did was great. No regrets.

i agree with you both, the 70/80's were great decades for bands nd albums, all my favourite are from 80's, in the 90's i was disappoited by the bands i ever loved and i lost interested in music after the 93 turning into underground music and Raves(dunno if out of Italy the word means the same), like Love-Parade, to be more precise

Same here Psicho, by the mid nineties all the bands I had loved from the post punk and goth eras had all gone to sh1t, I started listening to a lot more dance and electro stuff as well. My heart wasn't really in a lot of it though Raves does mean the same here! We had a Love Parade here in Brighton once but I was always too chicken to go to any actual proper raves

Kinda remember liking A Forest in 1980 when I was 10. Then lovecats but really got into them when The Top came out in 84 when I was 14. Saw them live that year for the first time then again in 85, 87, twice in 89, 90, 92 then not again until 06.

I agree with you eduardo. The music of the 70s and 80s were a bit better than from the 90s on. Also in the 60s there were really good bands. Unfortunately it isn't the same nowadays with all the casting shows etc. Don't want to moan, but this is my impression.
You lucky girl pipperoo, you could see The Cure in the 80s Still think the band is one of the most creative band i'm listening to. Cure's music never ever bores me to death
I walk wondering why, the same dream so many times

your name...like ice into my heart...a shllow grave...a monument to the ruined age...ice in my eyes...and eyes like ice don't move...screaming at the moon...as cold as silence...and you never will say a word...this is my name...and a strange day...ever and ever and ever again......
As far as I know. It's not a bad thing though, we can't let a band die out, need more fans of our generation. (I'm sure they'll be fine, since they're a very influential band)
